Our little Baby is growing up!

Sawyer at 8 months old. She is sitting and rolling and so close to crawling.
Her buddy, Tia.
She loves the swings and as you can barely see has almost 8 teeth!
She just graduated from the infant seat to a real car seat. Not a baby anymore!
Her and Tia posing.

Tia's (kimber's) graduation

Grammie and Grampie came to our house on the way to Tia's graduation.
Rowen loved hanging out with her grandpa.
Grammie and Sawyer
Since we were in Sacramento for Kimber's graduation we thought we would make a stop by the zoo. Russ and Rowen enjoying the monkeys.
Our little Kangaroos!
Tia and Rowen riding the alligator.
Russ and Sawyer snuggling.
This was my favorite exhibit, the red panda, doesn't he look so comfortable!?!
Rowen loves watching the fish and of course it is an added bonus that she can see her self in the window!
Grampie and Sawyer. Sawyer cried the first time she saw Grampie this trip but after that she fell in love and there was nothing he could do wrong.
Rowen riding the carousel in Davis that was powered by a man riding a bike. I promise she was enjoying it but she refuses to smile for the camera.
Once again, no smile. How can you go down the slide without a smile??
Sawyer and Rowen dressed up for Tia's graduation which was in the arena but we spent most of our time out in the grass.
I swear she is in there somewhere! Congrats Tia!

Working with Papa

Russ decided to build two more raised beds for our garden this year and of course Rowen had to be right by his side. Notice the cowboy boots, a Rowen designed outfit!
She was actually a great little helper and had to do everything he did, including carrying the wood.
She marked out her cut marks.
Then she decided to decorate the boards, while sitting.
Oops forgot to turn this picture! This is a worn out Rowen after a long days work.
Sawyer basking in the sun as usual.

This picture is random but I just love her flushed cheeks!

Rowen's flower

We went to the garden expo a few weeks ago and some nice lady gave Rowen a flower. Well she didn't know what a gift this was because Rowen loves flowers. So of course we went home and her father helped her plant it. She took this job very seriously!
She also loves to water which is an added plus when you have a plant.
Instead of picking the flower we have learned to smell the flower, i.e. the above demonstration.
This is supposed to be her proudest moment and she won't look at the camera! Oh well.
This is what Sawyer did (sat on a blanket and looked cute)!

Our little POOPER scooper

Rowen just loves to help and her new thing is picking up dog poop. Whenever Russ goes out to do this fun job she follows along with her little shovel.
She like everything else she does is very serious about it and does not want any help.
She actually does a pretty good job. Now if we could just get her to change her sister's diapers we would be set!!
A proud pose!

Summer is here!

Sawyer wearing Rowen's sunglasses and sporting her IDAHO shirt!
Rowen watering the garden and using the watering can that her grammie bought and decorated for her.
She takes her job very seriously!
Russ pumped up the raft to clean it and decided to let the girls try it out. Of course Rowen had to put on her life jacket to make it a true experience. This turned out to be a good thing as the life jacket provided extra protection when she decided to turn the raft into a jump house.
Finally calmed down for a picture. Hopefully she will get on the river for her first true rafting experience this summer.

Sawyer is eating solids

Okay, so she has been eating solids for like a month and a half now but I just love these messy face pictures! I'm a little behind in my blogging:)

Rowen smiling, had to post this because these pics don't come often!
Another war wound, which is truly a weekly event at our house.

A Mix of Pics

This is how Rowen and Sawyer help with the laundry! Notice Rowen's nose, her father decided it would be a great idea to race to the car after church while Rowen was wearing her dress shoes. Needless to say she met the pavement with her nose and it left a good little mark!
After church in her new dress from Grammie. She added the sunglasses to her outfit!
Sawyer loves the swing already, it always brings and instant smile to her face.
I told Rowen to go get dressed because we were going "bye, bye." This is what she came out in! I about fell over laughing but quickly hid my smile as you could see she was very proud of this outfit and was waiting for my approval.
Rowen playing dress up with her sister. They honestly did this for an hour- who needs toys! Again Rowen very proud of her style skills! Maybe she'll grow up and be a stylist.
