Sawyer laughing

This video is Rowen making her sister laugh and it's really hard not to laugh at the two of them. They already have this special bond that doesn't include parents!!

MULLET update

Rowen's hair is finally growing... in the back! For some reason the top just won't grow so she is sporting a major CURLY mullet! Poor kid she is going to hate these pictures.
The good thing is that it is long enough to wear in ponytails and the front just looks like she has bangs. This is at the park in Ashland, she loves the slide.
Her hair even fits into one pony tail, it only took two years!
And when she is in a good mood and willing to sit we can do her hair like this. I did Russ' hair once like this in college!

Goofing Off!

This is Rowen wearing infant glasses- she looks like the terminator. Yes, that is milk dripping down her face. She thought it would be funny to spit it out for the picture! Not funny!!
Sawyer in the exersaucer, she loves it!
Rowen snuggling with Guster. She spends many of her mornings like this.
Sawyer lifting her head while Guster gives her a kiss. We went to the doctor on Wednesday and she weighed 17#, she is definitely following in her sisters footsteps-- chunky monkey!
Rowen's book nook. I love that she loves to read but she has not learned how to pick one book at a time because it is way more fun to pull all of them down.

The Girls

Some of you have already seen these pictures on my facebook but I just love them and had to share them with those who don't check my facebook.
Rowen just loves to hug and kiss her sister but Sawyer doesn't always appreciate it!
They are actually starting to look more like each other especially when we look back to older pictures of Rowen.

Rowen had to have a picture in the bumbo just like her sister!

The Pink Bear

How did I get two daughters with such blue eyes?
This is the bear suit that Aunt Heidie bought Sawyer. She wears it everyday when we go on our walk and I just think it is so cute!
Poopy Bear
Happy bear!

Beautiful Sunriver!

Every year we take a trip on MLK weekend to Sunriver with our college friends from SOU (plus Al and Kacey!). This was our fifth year, crazy that it has already been that long! We started out with two married couples and now all four couples our married and there are three kids with one on the way!
Kacey and Alan Peterson, Me (with Sawyer in my coat), Kyla and Jon Peterson. It's a Peterson sandwich! No they are not related, just friends.
Another group pick with Russ and Rowen (she is hidden behind my big head!). The Haymans were at the cabin putting Tayden down for a nap.
Sawyer and Lindsey. Baby number four in the belly, due in August!
Lindsey, Tayden and Aaron Hayman
Jon and Kyla
Al and Kacey
Tayden and Rowen, they are six weeks apart. Rowen is older and despite a little hair pulling, by my daughter the bully, they played pretty well together.
Tayden and Sawyer. Tayden is very excited about babies and is going to be a great big brother!
Tayden in the pool. So he is the most adorable boy but back off everyone he is taken. Rowen and Tayden will have an arranged marriage because we want great in-laws! We can only hope and pray.
Rowen going down the slide and loving every minute of it!
Rowen and Papa. We are conserving heat at our house so Russ has decided to use other measures to stay warm- just kidding!
Alan on the flowrider- what a stud!
Jon on the flowrider, they make it look so much easier than it really is. We had a great weekend and are looking forward to next year already!
