Emma and Rowen

This is Emma, she is a good friend that lives just a block away. Emma is 3yrs old and is like a big sister to Rowen. This is Emma trying to give Rowen the pacifier, she is such a good helper although Rowen doesn't always appreciate her help.

This is Emma and Rowen in Rowen's crib. Emma wanted them to take a nap together but they really didn't sleep much. Instead they giggled at each other!

Emma loves the camera and we can see why- she is so photogenic!!

Rowen in the jumperoo. She is really getting good at holding up her head which makes it more fun to bounce in the jumperoo.

Guster, Rowen and Russ sitting in Guster's favorite chair. Guster is so gentle with Rowen although Russ has been training him for the last three years (i.e. pulling on his tail and ears).

Just a typical day!

This is Rowen at about 11am, she always seems to be happy at this time of day.

This is her new jumperoo which we just tried out for the first time today!

This is her bouncy chair, she loves it! Especially because there is a mirror that spins around above her and I think she just figured out that she likes the reflection because she will just sit and laugh at it.

This is her play mat which she also loves. This is a picture of her rolling onto her side, I was pretty impressed!

And this is us being silly. Yes we are both laying under the play mat!!

CLARIFICATION!

After my first post I was quickly informed of a typo that was made on my blog. So I am now writing to clarify and for the record state that the girl pictured above, Avery, is Rowen's best friend. I am sorry if any feelings were hurt or people were offended. (HA! HA!)

Dads?!?!

Yes it is true, you are looking at two proud fathers! Hard to believe that these guys actually have offspring! We went to visit our good friends Jason, Kaely and Coleman Randles in Roseburg this last weekend. For those of you who don't know Russ and
Jason were college roommates for 4 yrs or so at the U of I.

Jason and Coleman; Coleman almost 7 months old and weighs 15 lbs.

This is Rowen with her new earrings! Yes, I got them pierced much to her father's dislike- he had four brothers and doesn't understand the point of earrings!

The next picture is Rowen in her new bumbo seat (borrowed from her friend Avery) with her best friend Guster. They get along well and he especially loves to lick her!
