Rowen's 3rd Birthday

Ok I know Rowen was born in March and it is now May. A little late on the blog but life is flying right now and I'm just trying to keep my head above water! Everyone says these years are crazy and fast, I guess I never realized how true that really is!
Rowen had a double birthday party with her friend Madison. The theme was Tinkerbell so my mom made her a Tinkerbell outfit and of course she loved it. This is her trying it on for the first time.
Telling Grammie thank you and giving a quick smooch.

Madison, the other birthday girl, also dressed as Tinkerbell.
Rowen's complete Tinkerbell outfit but we don't get a smile like Madison because my child refuses to look at the camera! Oh well.
Madison's cousins did face painting for the kids and they loved it!
Katelyn, Madison's youngest sister. She is the youngest of four girls and sat contently in this stroller! I don't make children like that!

Christi and Eve with baby Emmett in the belly. Christi used to watch the girls while I slept after work. She is so great and we miss her but baby Emmett needs to have his momma.
Ryan and Campbell Allred

We had the birthday party at the church and they let us use their jump houses. So much fun but lots of chaos and crying. This is a few of the boys rolling out of the house.
Eve, Rowen and Avery
I'm a bad mom because I think this is the only picture of Sawyer. She loved the jump house and we were  impressed with how brave she was. Yes this is a wall that she climbed up and then rolled down the other side!
We had a lot of fun and can't believe Rowen is already three!

Miller-Allred Hike

Sawyer hiking down the trail by lost creek lake. She is very excited about her leaf!

Campbell Allred just taking a little break with Ryan and Shasta in the background.
Rowen and Avery love to hike and especially love to sit on the ground and hit each other with sticks, leaves, etc.
In this picture they are cracking up at each other. Any little thing done by one of them can cause the other to burst into laughter! I'm not sure what happen to our little babies? They are growing up too fast.
Dads and their daughters posing for a pic.
The girls throwing rocks toward the lake because of course it is too far for them to reach.
The water looked beautiful the whole day!

More Hamper

Who would have thought the hamper would be such a hit! The girls played in this for probably an hour, in and out they went. And of course they filled what little room they had with books and babies. It is so fun to be a little kid!

Mix of Pics

This child refuses to look at the camera with her eyes open! This is her "cheese" face.
Rowen teaching Sawyer how to sweep. One of their favorite activities. Too bad they don't actually pick anything up!
Avery and Rowen. Such different little girls- Avery looks so sweet and cute and Rowen looks like a lumberjack covered in mud!
Grammie bought the girls this easel for Christmas and they love it. It has two sides which saves a lot of fights.
Sawyer in her little Jr. firefighter hat saving her baby.
Sawyer showing her baby that she too could be a firefighter when she grows up!!

Ballerinas in training

The girls both got ballerina outfits for Christmas. Rachel bought one for Rowen and I couldn't resist buying one for Sawyer. As you can see they love them and especially love watching the nutcracker while wearing them. Rowen truly wants to be a sugar plum fairy and is actually pretty good at doing some of the moves. We will definitely be seeing the play next Christmas and I can't wait!

Christmas Day

We spent Christmas at my parents house in Idaho. Rowen was the designated stocking opener and seriously opened everyones stockings- she loved it! Sawyer was the designated snack eater. I think she ate the entire container of puffs before morning was over!

Sweater Party!

So I'm totally embarrassed to put these pictures up but I figure why do you go to these parties if you aren't willing to share the joy with everyone else! (Russ is probably going to shoot me- oh well!) I just want to make clear that both Russ and my sweaters came from my mom who I actually remember wearing them! (sorry mom) In this picture we are sitting on Ryan Allred's lap. He is wearing a santa suit with a Christmas sweater over the top, as if Santa isn't festive enough!

Russ is sitting on Santa Ryan's lap asking for his Christmas wish!

All of the girls and our lovely Christmas attire. Rachel is the one with the red and white crazy hat!

Me and Rachel looking probably the best we have ever looked!
