Ocean with the Allreds

We took a little vacation at the end of August to a beach house that the Allreds so kindly shared with us. This beach house was on a cliff looking right out onto the ocean. It was gorgeous and the girls had so much fun!

Rowen could not get enough of the starfish, shells and basically anything that had to do with the ocean!

She loved this foam and ran through it a bunch of times coming out with seaweed green pants!

Sawyer spent most of the time in the backpack which she loves. Worked out well for everyone.

Sawyer and Campbell playing, well I guess mostly eating the sand! They are one month apart and good buds. I couldn't get enough of Campbell's sandy face. She kept eating and eating without a single complaint.

The dads and their girls. FOUR girls- what could be more fun?!?

Summer Idaho Trip

So I have been really slacking in the blog area of my life and I apologize! These are pictures from our two week trip to Idaho. We had a great time visiting the fam and these are a random mix of some of our favorite pics.

Kimber (Tia) and cousin Kennedie. Kennedie has to be one of the happiest babies I have ever met and has the best smile!

Here is our Oscar the grouch!

Kennedie showing off her beautiful bod!

Rowen and Auntie Heidie

We went on a hike one of the days and this is Sawyer chewing on some wheat.

Rowen showing off her flower.

Rowen hiked a lot of the way and enjoyed every bit of it! She had to inspect everything she came across!!

At the Park, the girls both had a great time. We went almost everyday, even in the rain!

Rowen's First Rafting Trip

She was so excited to get on the raft. Russ couldn't move fast enough!
She wanted to row the boat and actually did a pretty good job.
Russ was very proud of her skills and I'm sure he is dreaming about his daughter the future river guide!
Like father-like daughter
I swear this was the first day in months it rained and actually it was the day of the huge thunder storms and golf ball sized hail! Miller Luck. It was hilarious to see all of the fisherman in ponchos while our two year old daughter jumped around in her lifejacket!

Babies...

Ailie and Kohen Daniels, Alison and Haley Greer, and Me and Sawyer.

Scott River Cabin

Avery and Rowen lounging at the beach.
Sawyer and I trying to cool off in the very hot 108 degree heat.
Rowen plaing in the clear water. She is filling the ziplock with rocks.
Russ asked if he could dress Rowen and I said sure. How bad could it be, I had packed all of her clothes. Well I forgot about the NEMO outfit!
Rowen and Sawyer posing next to the pond.
Avery and Rowen venturing through the creek. I love Avery's hand up on her hip!
They are taking a closer look!
They found a turtle and both of them wanted to hold it SO bad!
Kisses for the turtle!

The Girls

Boxes make everything more exciting! Rowen is reading her book upside down, very talented that girl.
Sawyer riding the little car. She figured out how to make it move but she can only go backwards. She is very proud of herself!
Rowen and Avery in the famous tiger chair. Surprisingly they actually get along when they are sitting in it. Although Rowen is giving Avery the Miller scowl!
Sawyer rolling on the ground.
Rowen and Oscar. Oscar was a doll that we always played with at my Grandma's house when I was kid. My grandma almost sold him at a yard sale when I rescued him and brought him to my house. Rowen loves him and plays with him all the time. But she renamed him "Papa," which is what she calls her dad. She named him this when Russ was gone a lot this summer, I guess I can see the close resemblance!!
